Quick note on resources

I found a blog over at ciscoblog.com that seems to have some good information. He discuses some more technical things than I have such as routing protocols and security. He even goes on to write about how to break a password encrypted in the config without using a traditional password attack. I have to admit, that does kind of worry me slightly, but on the upside, how often do you see your config file stolen?.

If you’ve studied for certifications or otherwise there is an article on the subject at network world too. Unfortunately I tend to prefer to just read a certification book or something comparable cover to cover when my employer isn’t sending me to those “cheap” official training classes. I’m guessing my way isn’t for many others.

After replacing the network cable, the technician diligently proceeded to clean up the packets that had been dropped all over the floor into the bit bucket.
